Chapter 44

Oh my has it been long. Geez. Im so SORRY! I didnt realize it was that long ago that i posted. But in goood news, i passed all 5 OGT test. An Im out of school, Which means WAY WAY MORE chapters being posted. :]Oh an I also now work at TARGET:D so that may throw a curve ball every now and then. -ciera


Jordan:
The next morning I wokr up at 3:15, 4:00, 4:45, 5:30, 6:10, 7:20 and stayed awake when I woke at 8:11. As I got out of bed I reached for my phone. 'No messages. Dang noone like me.' I laughed to myself. I slowly made my way downstairs, put on some coffee and sent a text to the guys to make sure they all got up for morning practice. I left a note for Jared I'll be back at 12:30. Be ready to go. -Big bro. Jared was meeting Ciera today, and to be perfectly honest with you I was quite nervous. I really didnt need him to blurt out something to her and make it all uncomfortable for us to be around each other. Walking into the locker room everyone seemed excited that the first game of the season was tommarow, well except me. I was told that I looked like Ive seen a ghost, Or that I was a ghost. Apparently, I was very pale, more then usual, so coach sent me to the trainers room before practice.
"Im fine coach, just tired. Woke up like every half hour to forty-five minutes last night!"
"Whats been eating you Jordan?" He asked as we walked towards the tunnel.
"Nothing. Just trying to get back in the swing of things! Thats all. Im fine, really coach."
"Okay then. Out with the rest of the team!"


Ciera:
When I got out of bed I realized I had a half hour to get ready and a half hour to be at Delucas to meet Jordan. I had missed that place, Jordan and I used to eat there EVERY week during the season, Sunday morning when they werent away that is. I jumped in the shower, not even looking at my phone as I walked past the night stand.


Geno:
At around 11:40 I called Ciera to tell her I got hit at practice but was okay if anyone mentioned it to her. She didnt asnwer, although the alarm was set for 11:30. 'Where could she be?' Maybe the shower?! Ill just wait about ten more minutes.


Ciera:
When I got out of the shower, I got dressed right away. Im gonna be late If i dont hurry! I kept telling myself. I rushed out the door grabbing my purse and keys, putting my shoes on as I went.


Geno: 12:30 and she still didnt text me back. Well maybe she didnt get up. I guess Ill just drive home and see. When I reached the house I noticed the truck wasnt in the driveway. 'She left? But wait. No text or call me.' Weird. I parked the car and went inside yelling for her as I went, but got no answer. I walked into our room, she had gotten a shower, but where was she now? Her phone was laying on the bed. I grabbed it to see she had three missed calls from me, two voice mails also from me. Ten text messages were left unread, starting from when I texted her around noon. Six from me, Two from Vero, one from her sister and one from Jordan. I insitinctivly picked his to read first.
Hey, same booth as usual, I might be a tad bit late!;)
Wait did she say anything about this?
I dont think she did!
GOD DAMN IT!


Ciera:
While I was waiting at our usual table in the back of the resturant, I realized my phone hadnt gone off all morning. I started digging frantically, worried about geno; that wasnt like him. 'Oh SHIT!' I left my phone on the bed GREAT! What if something happens or happened! How will I find out and how will anyone get a hold of me. Just as I was having a nervous break down, I caught Jordan out of the corner of my eye walking in with a younger looking, similar boy behind him.

Geno;
I walked up to Sid and wrapped him in a HUGE bear hug.
"thanks kid. Mean lots!" I told him
"I know bud. An your welcome. Your next beers on me!" He smirked.
"thanks!" We walked towards our table where everyone else was sitting."
Ciera;
I texted Geno around 11:30 to let im know I was heading home and to text me soon if he needed a ride. He did have practice in the morning and I hadnt seen him all day long, although that upset me, i let him have some fun. On the other hand Vero and I found an amazing outfit for the both of us! We had found a women in the strip who makes custon outfits. Some how we managed to get her to make a dress out of a jersey of the guys. She even told us she would work on them and nothing else so that they would be ready for the game. When I walked through the door into the kitchen from the garage I noticed lights on in the living room.
"Hello?" Some questioned with a thick accent.
"It's Ciera." I answered.
Oh. Natilia." She called back.
I walked towards the licing room to see a glass of wine in her hand, a empty bottle laying on the table and our pictures, from Flordia, scattered across the floor and table. I quickly hid my left hand in my pocket. I said hello, then walked to the kitchen to put my bags and stuff down on the counter. Odly enough just as I had a couple of weeks ago, to find Elena and Geno cooking in the kitchen making dinner for them selfs. I took off the ring and put it inside my purse.
'No need to rush things.' I said to myself.
"Geno?" She asked.
"With the guys." I grabbed for a water in the fridge.
"Practice in morning. He need here." She yelled/talked.
"Im sorry. I told him to get home about 45mins ago. He was at the Brewery. He should be home in like 20 minutes."
When Evgeni finally came home I wished her a good night and headed to bed. Shortly after He joined me.
"She Crazy!" He laughed. "She try drive tipsy."
This caused me to laugh. "where she go then?"
"Me call brother, he come, take her." He kissed my forehead.
"Oh okay." I smiled pulling him closer to me and pressing my lips to his.
Jordan;
I was the DD for the night unfortunetly, After dropping Kris, Tyler, and Max at thier places, Jared and I headed home. He was past out in the front seat before we even got to Kris's house. As I sat there in the dark, quiet car I started to think. 'Wonder what she is doing right now.' 'Man do I miss my best friend.' I looked over to Jared and laughed. He was now starting to droll. Oh man i gotta get a picture of this. I pulled my camera out of the console and snapped a picture. 'Gee that is attractive.' Jared started to wake up as I hurridly attepted to hide the camera.
"What was that?" He whipped his eyes and then his mouth.
"Car going past." I laughed.
"Oh okay. Where are we?" He looked out the window.
"About 3 minutes away. I was half tempted to leave you in here all night. So dont fall back asleep." I laughed, causing a smirk to cross his face.
"Remember when we did that to Marc." He laughed. "It was after Tamara's Party. Marc and Eric were Trashed! An You and I were the only ones home."
"Oh yeah. That was awhile ago." I thought back.
"Not really. Like 2 years." He giggled.
"Really?" I startedd to try to do the math. "I thought it was WAY longer then that."
"Nope. Mom and Dad were at that farmers meeting thingy in Quebec that weekend."
"Oh yeah thats right." I smirked. "Good times that weekend."
We pulled into the driveway. Jared stumbled to the door as I fumbled with the keys in the dark.
"Come on dude!" He leaned on my shoulder.
"Im trying. N bro?" I looked to him.
"Yeah?" He looked to me.
"Back up. Man I feel like im bringing home a drunk girl." I went back to fiddling with the keys.
"ah You aint got no types of game." He laughed.
"Oh really?!" I smirked.
"Yeah. OR I wouldnt be with you right now, Ciera wouldnt be marrying Geno, and you would be able to tell her how you feel," He turned an barfed into the shrubs.
"No. She is my best friend. An thanks for the present dude." I opened the door and helped him up the stairs. "Im not cleaning up and shit that comes out of your mouth."
"Thanks dude. I will see you in the morning!" He climbed into bed with out changing and pulled the blanket over his head.
'What if Jared is right? but I cant possibly ruin that for her. She is to excited and way to happy. It would kill me if i hurt her.'

RIP ADAM< 3

So im really sad. I was going to post today but i just cant do it. Last night a 12 year old was killed on a fourwheeler..:[ His brother was like my boyfriends best friend...So he was balling his eyes out and so was his brother brandon. An I lost it last night. I didnt know what to do. So I cant get that out of my head. As off now there will be an update tomarow hopefully. Its just this is really got to me. We Love you Adam. You will never be forgotten.

SID GOT HIS 50th GOAL AND I MISSED IT:'{...Im so upset. But I DID ROCK HIS JERSEY AT THE JASON ALDEAN CONCERT! AN STUFF THAT IN OVECHKINS FACE.. CROSBY GOT 50 HOW MANY DO YOU HAVE!!! HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH!!! OH YEAH THATS RIGHT 48!!!!! LMFAO! I hate #8. but umm yeah. "Oh Elena." He laughed. " She's telling people your engaged. Marc chocked out.

"Are you serious?" I started getting mad.

"Yeah. Vero went to some store and the lady told her about it." Flower showed some simpathy.

"What' she say?" I asked.

"Nothing. She didnt know what to say." is phone went off just as he finished, "Speaking of the devil."

He talked to Vero as I zoned off.

'What are they planning now?!'

I figured I mid as well get up after Geno left, I washed the clothes and unpacked all of our stuff. I got bored doing that so I ended up calling Jordan.

"Finally!" He exclamied as he asnwered.

"What?" I replied.

"Finally, you call your best friend." he laughed.

"Sorry. I was unpacking." I giggled.

"Well what are you doing now?" He asked.

"Ummm Vero is probally gonna come over." I smiled. "Why?"

"I got a surprise for you!"

"A surprise? Jordan what are yout alking about? Whatd you get me???" I asked excitedly.

"Itll give it away." He laughed.

"Fine. What are you doing tommarow?!"

"We have a morning practice, then nothing yet." He nonchantly said.

"okay. Wanna get a coffee after practice?" I asked.

"Sounds good to me. Ill text you after practice then.."

"Alright. Bye Jordan."

"Bye C."

A few hours later the door bell rang.

"Hey!" V walked in.

"Hello." I laughed.

"So let me see it!" She squealed.

"Here." I nonchantly lifted my hand.

"It's gorgeous." She smiled.

"I know! I Love it." I smiled.

"okay, to the more serious buisness, I got major spy news!" She smirked.

"Oh really?! Fill me in then!" I exclaimed.

"Elena, she bought this GORGEOUS dress for the game, and she is telling people they are engaged....!!!!!!!!!" She gave this weird look.

"How gorgeous? An WHAT!!!!!" I looked to her.

"REALLY gorgeous." She looked down. "Beyonce gorgeous!"

"Oh no. Not Beyonce gorgeous. You couldnt have said Lady GAGA gorgeous!!" I pouted.
"Im sorry. This just means we need to get shopping girl!" She smirked. "But first, I wanna see the Pictures!" She laughed.

Only Vero would say that.

Geno;

MArc and I both tried to call the girls but of course when they are together they completly forget about their phones.

"Well, I guess i'll just got home and make myself dinner!" Marc laughed.

"Me think same thing!" I chuckled.

"Well lets eat together then." He suggested.

"Work for me." I grabbed my stuff and headed out to the car.

Ciera texted me to see where I was, I answered then I found out her and V were getting dinner together just like the two of us.

After dinner we headed out to get a beer with the guys.

"Congrats Buddy!" Billy gave me a hug as I walked to are usual table.

"Thanks billy." I smiled.

After everyone was their and had a drink Sid got up on the bar and gave a good toast to me and Ciera.

"Well bud you finally did what none of us thought you'd do. And Damn are we proud of you Geno. You got the girl, An amazing girl I might add. And now we are going to get the cup AGAIN!"

Everyone cheered and drank.

"Wait wait Im not done." Sid looked around.

"Sorrys." Came from all around the room.

"Geno, I knew that Ciera was the one for you as soon as I saw you two together. Shoot even Max said that he was glad that you got her cause he didnt want to be whipped." I shot him a evil grin. As we all laughed.

"But I guess im just trying to say, Evgeni, My best friend, my other half to the two headed monster, my partner in crime, the other side to the dynamic duo, Im glad you finally found the girl for you!"

"Cheers?" Jordan questioned.

"CHEERS!" Sid Laughed.

chapter 41

Sorry it took so long. We had these stupid OGT( ohio graduation test) standerized bull crap basically. An we had to do a test for each SUBJECT!!! ughh.. So yeah. I havent really had time to write...But here it is FINALLY!! More updates will be coming to. Esp. With it being easter break. Oh and if you havent already checked out two for the road. Wenesday:

Opon arriving back in PA Jordan and Jared were out running when Vero texted them letting him know that they landed and are back home. Elena was out with Rebecca shopping. Geno's parents well they were waiting outside Geno's since he moved the spare key, they couldnt get it.

Geno had calculated that they'd have a hour and a half to do anything they wanted before Geno had to shoot with Dan at 4.

C;

We were excited to be back in Pittsburgh and for the season opener, but sadly all that excitement went down the drain when the gate security told us his parents were at the house.

"Maybe not know?" He looked at me.

"Did they seem upset?" I asked Jimmy the security guy.

"Nope. Pretty happy actually." He smiled.

We both looked at each other and said

"They dont know yet." at the same time.

We pulled away from the gate and toward the house.

"I'm gonna take it off. I think we should wait." I looked at him.

"Okay." He nodded.

Not long after Evgeni's parents left Geno and Ciera went upstairs to cuddle,watch a movie, and possibly sleep.

At 3 oclock Geno's alarm went off. We hadnt been sleeping, just watching the movie, so he set it just in case.

"me sorry. Got go." He kissed me.

"It's okay." I smiled into the kiss. "Ill see you later."

I watched him walk out the door to get his things ready to leave.

Geno;

I heard the alarm go off and sighed. 'Damn it.'

I crawled out of bed reluctantly, and went on a search for my hockey bag.

I pulled into the arena parking lot to see not only Dans car but also Flowers SUV.

"Flower." he smiled up at me.

"Geno. I heard you finally did it."

"Yes. me did. U here for?" I sat beside him and got ready.

"I thought Id come work with you." He hit my shoulder.

"Oh. Okay." I smiled. "Thanks."

After a long, hard, productive workout Marc and I went out for coffee.

"So how was Flordia?" Marc asked.

"Great. We kinda told the media outside a club." I looked down knowing how bad this could be.

"What happened?" He looked straight at me not braking his stare.

"Someone said something about a girl up here?!" I took a drink.

"Oh Elena." He laughed. "She's telling people you are engaged."

I was about an hour outside of Pittsburgh when I really started thinking, 'Ciera's my best friend.' I wonder if Jordan wants it to be more then that?! As soon as I pulled in the drive Jordan was running out the door.

"Bro!!!" He yelled wrapping me in a HUGE hug.

"What, Do you have nothing else better to do? Then wait for me to come? I mean its not like I didnt just see you a month ago..." I laughed.

"Well I was watching the Hawks game I DVR'd." He smiled.

"Oh cool." I laughed grabbing my stuff out of the car.

"Soo...Why Marc first?" He stood in front of the doorway.

"Cause he's cooler!!!" I laughed at his face as he stepped aside. "Im just kidding."

"Oh." He fake laughed. "Okay."

"So Jordan. What's this Ciera business?"

"Watcha mean?" He plopped down on the couch.

"You like her. Dont you?" I sat down beside him.

"Yeah. I like her. If I didnt would she still be my best friend? Ummm I think not! Duh!!." He smiled.

"You know what I mean. Dont play dumb."

"Oh brother." He laughed. "I dont know."

"How could you not know weither or not you like a girl?" I looked at him strangely."Jord. Talk to me dude."

"Fine! What do you want to know?" He asked.

"Everything. I need DETAILS, TIME AND PLACE, catch me up here.." I made myself comfortable.

Elena;

"Tuesday night!" I yelled through the suite. I turned on the music and got ready. I was going out tonight for one last time before Evgeni came back. I heard about this club called Diesel, Where ALL the Penguins players go to party. I thought I mide as well get used to the place if I am going to be with Geno.

Around 11:30, I went to check it out. It reminded me of a club back home. I didnt wait in line, the bouncer seemed to like me. Either that or what I was wearing! I asked abother, well flirted with abother to allow me acess to the VIP section upstairs. I was success full and was put on the list. I was looking down over the railing when I noticed a girl that looked like me. I studied her actions as she worked through the I watched the gestures she made to guys as I made my way down. She was my long, lost twin.

"Hey!" I met her at the bar.

"Whats up?" She smiled.

"Im Elena." I got the bartenders attention.

"Rebecca!" She shook my hand.

"A martini." I flirted with him.

"Dry?" He smiled.

"Of course." I smirked.

"Make that two." She flirty-smiled.

This is the begining of a beautiful relationship!!

When he came back with our drinks the crowd errupted in screams. I looked towards the stairs to see some of Geno's friends.

"Want to go to VIP with me?" I asked Rebecca.

"Hell Yeah." She grabbed my hand as we made our way to the stairs.

"She's with me!" I smiled as I lead her past the bouncer.

At the top of the stairs she froze.

"Are you okay?" I asked turning to her.

"I'm kind of nervous!" She half-smiled.

"Dontbe! They are all really nice." I smiled.

"You know them?" Her eyes got big.

"Kind of." I smirked.

Jordan;

I noticed Jared looking like a zombie, when I turned around to see what he was looking at I began to feel my blood boiling.

"Snap out of it." I snapped my fingers in front of his face.

"What?" He asked.

"Off limits." I stared daggers at them.

"Why? They are HOT! Are they with someone?" He cocked his head sideways.

"ewhhh dude. That would be Elena!!!" I shivered saying her name.

I turned to Sid and Flower looking for Vero.

They pointed to the stairs. I looked down to see her arguing with the bouncer.

"Is there a problem here?" I asked him.

"Umm. No Mr. Staal!" He looked up to me.

"Call me Jordan. And V whats going on?" I asked turned towards her.

"Elena?" She questioned.

"oh yeah. They need to go. They dont need to be up there while we are here! Unless they WALK UP WITH A PLAYER!!!!" I stressed.

"Okay. Ill take care of it MR. I mean Jordan." He motioned to two other rather large men standing off to the side of the room.

Seeing them just topped off my day!!! Only one other thing could have made it better!

I was sitting on the beach with Evgeni when my phone buzzed.

"Who call?" He asked.

"Noone. I got a video message." I laughed. "From V and Jordan."

"Hey C. Hope you are having a good old time in Flordia with out us. You probally arent since we arent there. But anyways the matter off this video...... We thought youd enjoy this..."

The camera moved and Elena and some other girl were bring removed from the VIP area at Diesel.

"Oh my god." I laughed.

"What happen?" Geno looked to me. "She gone."

"I dont know. They didnt say. But thats funny." I laughed between each word.

"Yeah. Is." He joined me in laughing at them.

"Ill have to ask one of them tommarow. And about the news in PITTSBURGH to...Im still wondering about that." I looked to him.

"Me to." He smiled. " But it K."

"Oh really?"

"yup. You Mrs. Evgeni Malkin. No her." He kissed me.
